Our general fitting solutions

We have a highly skilled and competent maintenance and repairs team and fully-equipped workshop located in the New South Wales Hunter Valley. Our workshop environment is set up for high-quality production, using engineering design and fitting capability to streamline operations.

Our team comprises qualified CNC setters, diesel fitter-mechanics, fitter-machinists, fitter-mechanics, maintenance fitters, and general mechanics (diesel and heavy earth-moving equipment). With such breadth, our general fittings offering is robust and reliable.

At Morgan Engineering our general fitting team are tasked with:

Determining the suitability of materials, establishing the method and sequence of operations, and calculating machine settings.
Fitting fabricated metal parts and assembling them, and checking those parts for accuracy, clearance and fit.
Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools, and controls for machines.
Forming metal stock and castings to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal.
Cutting, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
Performing maintenance on machines, mechanical parts, and fluid power equipment.
Erecting machines and equipment.

All Morgan Engineering fitters have completed a minimum nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. We take pride in ensuring our workshops are as safe as possible for the health and wellbeing of our staff, with Workplace Health and Safety a number one priority at Morgan Engineering.

Do you provide assembly services for complex mechanical sub assemblies?

Our general fitting team provides full assembly and testing of mechanical systems. We ensure all bearings, seals, and moving parts are fitted correctly before the component leaves our workshop.
