CNC Machinist

Location: Singleton, NSW
We are looking for someone who has the following:
• Trades Certificate – CNC Machinist
• Demonstrated trades experience working in the mining or manufacturing industry
• Experience in a workshop environment
• Advanced CNC Machinist experience
• Exceptional safety standards
• Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands
• Ability to maintain high work standards with minimal supervision
• Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative
• Ability to read and interpret drawings

On Site Fitter Machinist – Line Borer

Location: Singleton, NSW

With solid growth and exceptional opportunities within the Hunter region, we are highly motivated to find the right person in terms of experience, skill and passion for excellence to join our team as an experienced, trade qualified Machinist – Line borer on a permanent, full-time capacity based in the Singleton area.

You will be responsible for:
  • Reclaiming bores on earth moving equipment
  • Producing work to specific manufacturing standards, sizes and finishes
  • Working as an integral part of the line boring team
  • Attending to jobs both on customer premises and in the workshop

Adult Apprentices

In this position, you will be required to work shift work covering both day/night rotations.
• Current mine site inductions
• Working safely at heights
• MDG25 hot work awareness
• Confined small workplace emergencies (fire spotter)
• First aid and CPR training
• MR licence
• Forklift licence

Boilermaker & Fabricator

Location: Singleton, NSW

Our team is constantly growing, and we are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Boilermakers & Fabricators to join the team on a permanent basis in the Singleton area.

With the growing demand from our valued clients, we have invested in a state-of-the-art heavy fabrication workshop which will now facilitate all off site fabrication work.

As part of the team, you'll join a group of progressive and innovative tradesmen who over the past 45 years in business have developed strong relationships with our clients which allows us to offer our team permanent long-term work opportunities.

We currently have a variety of positions available lifestyle roster 5 on 4 off, Dayshift & Nightshift, Monday – Friday rotating shifts with the opportunity to work additional overtime where required.

Onsite Line Borer / Machinist (FIFO)

Location: Gunnedah, Tamworth & North West NSW

We are currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified Onsite Line borers / Machinists to join our team on a permanent basis, in the Gunnedah area.

With solid growth and exceptional opportunities within the Hunter region, we are highly motivated to find the right people in terms of experience, skill and passion for excellence to join our team as a Onsite Line borer / Machinist on a permanent, fly in fly out based in the Hunter Valley Coal fields.

We currently have positions available lifestyle roster 3 weeks on 1 week or similar, Dayshift & Nightshift, rotating shifts with the opportunity to work additional overtime where required.

Onsite Line borer / Machinist (Fitter Machinist)

Location: Gunnedah, Tamworth & North West NSW

Our team is constantly growing, and we are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Machinists – Line borers to join the team on a permanent basis, in the Gunnedah area.

You will be an integral part of the line boring team, attending to jobs both on customer premises and in the workshop. Predominantly, your work will involve reclaiming bores on earth moving equipment - to specific manufacturing standards, sizes and finishes.

Fitter machinist & Boilermaker (Adult Apprenticeship)

Location: Gunnedah, Tamworth & North West NSW

We are on the hunt for Adult Apprentices, with several Fitter Machinist and Boilermaker permanent positions available, based in the Gunnedah area.

This exciting opportunity will see you learn from the best in the business, benefiting from our industry-leading and award-winning training programs.

As with all our apprenticeship roles, you will actively participate in the accredited RTO and approved RPL and Skills Assessment apprenticeship pathway, including training and assessment.

SUPERVISOR – HEAVY FABRICATION

Location: Singleton NSW

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Supervisor - Heavy Fabrication to join our growing organisation, based in the Singleton area.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will drive the effective execution of the Heavy Fabrication business. Providing effective leadership and management to support the successful delivery of customers projects on time, on budget and with no quality issues.

Our ideal team member would be a trade qualified individual with a background as a Site Supervisor, Project Co-Ordinator or Workshop Manager

CNC Machinist (FIFO)

Location: Singleton NSW

We are currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified CNC Machinists to join our team on a permanent basis, in the Singleton area.

With solid growth and exceptional opportunities within the Hunter region, we are highly motivated to find the right people in terms of experience, skill and passion for excellence to join our team as a CNC Machinist on a permanent, fly in fly out based in the Singleton area.

We currently have positions available for the lifestyle roster, for example, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, 1 week on 1 week off or similar, dayshift & nightshift, rotating shifts with the opportunity to work additional overtime where required.

MANUAL MACHINIST / FITTER

Location: Singleton NSW

Due to exponential growth, we are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Manual Machinist / Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis in the Singleton area.

We are looking for someone with Manual or NC Machinist experience, in a workshop environment. The ideal applicant will also have demonstrated trades experience, working in the mining or manufacturing industry.

Component Welder

Location: Singleton NSW

We are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Welders to join the team on a permanent basis in the Singleton area.

Draftsperson

Location: Singleton NSW

This is an exciting career opportunity to work in Drafting / Engineering as part of our dynamic design office team at Morgan Engineering NSW. This is a permanent full-time role 5 days a week.

A minimum of three years' experience and work in a previous similar role is required.

In 2022 we received the NSW Training Award for our apprenticeship training program which was developed in-house in collaboration with Gimbal Training.

The training program offers flexible and tailored courses that can be completed in online modules and on the job training.

Through the completion of the apprenticeship program, participants receive a Certificate III in Engineering in either Mechanical or Fabrication Trade, as well as practical experience on a mine site. To date have a significant number of apprentices stay on as employees and continue their career with us.

Alongside our apprenticeship program, we offer a wide range of training courses that can be altered to your needs, getting you where you want to be.

We proudly partner with Aussie Ark to sponsor our very own Tasmanian Devil named Morgan. Aussie Ark is an incredible organisation committed to working on the conservation of threatened Australian species. To date, Aussie Ark has raised over $26,000, going directly towards breeding and rewilding programs for Australia’s most endangered species.

Over the last few years, we’ve also worked closely with the head teachers of design, engineering, technologies and Aboriginal education at Singleton High School developing a tiny home for those in need. This has had an immediate benefit to our local economy in Singleton as we’re encouraging local employment and income throughout the community.
